'Crayons' is a piece for processed electric cello samples. All samples are taken from improvisations. I had in mind distinctive waxy textures of crayons while I was assembling sounds together via Audiomulch.

Jérôme Poirier is a musician specializing in electric cello, voice, electronics and bodhrán. An active improviser, Poirier has created acousmatic and electronic music alone and in collaboration with Lee Noyes, Vincent Poirier, Cie Lubat, Jeanne Added, JC Jouffre and many others. He is also involved in a chamber pop trio (Landing Cellophane). Jérôme Poirier is based in Paris, France.
